A homeowner in Redhook New York, had a finished basement that developed a leak during a rain storm, ruining their beautifully finished basement. The homeowner had someone come in to clean their basement up, but they were now left with an almost completely unfinished basement that they wanted to finish again, but we're worried that their basement might flood and ruin their newly finished basement again. Before redoing their basement, they reached out to us to see how we could prevent their basement from flooding again, so we sent one of our specialists out to inspect their leaky basement. After our specialist, inspected their leaky basement, they recommended they have their basement waterproofed using our basement waterproofing system, which consists of our WaterGuard, TripleSafe sump pump, and our SaniDry dehumidification system. Our WaterGuard system works by our crew coming in and installing the WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement, so that if any water tries to enter the basement, it will get captured by our water guard system, which will then direct the water to our some pump system. As water enters our sump pump system, it will get discharged out of the home by one of the three pumps located inside the sump pump. The first pump is our primary pump, which will handle most of the heavy lifting. The second pump is our secondary pump, in case the primary becomes overwhelmed with water, or in the event it fails. The third pump in our system is our battery back up pump, which will kick on and discharge water in the event the home lost power during a rain storm.
