Basement Finishing Photo Album: New Basement near Port Jervis, NY

When Mr & Mrs H. saw the advertisement in their favorite local paper they invited Dave over to see what he can offer. When the visit was over the project began. We had to remove the old to make room for the new. We removed all the original sheetrock carpet and drop ceiling. we removed the wood from the walls and support columns. We installed the Everlast wall system, replaced the exterior door and interior doors, we installed the ThermalDry floor tiles and a new drop ceiling twith LED lighting. We did add some Oak plywood to the post system but made sure to not let it contact the cement.

Centerpiece of Basement

This bar has been the centerpiece of the basement for a long time and it was important that it stayed.

Old windows need to go also

This portion of the basement has 3 windows that needed to be replaced

Pellet Stove

We had to preserve the brick and the stone shelves for the pelet stove area.

The exterior door needs replacement.

This old steel exterior door had seen it better days and we replaced it with a new insulted steel door.

We saved the bar.

We saved the bar and added some new light and life. The post were wraped with the everlast finishe wall panaels and to give some wood look back the bottoms were wrapped in Oak plywood.

New Windows

We instlled 3 new Everlast Hopper windows to match the design of the previous windows.

Bright and Cheerie

The new Everlast Panels neutral color blend well with the brick suround of the pellet stove area.

Safe and Secure

With all the LED lights we made a bright and safe area. The new Steel insulated exterior door adds some wanted security. The new closet under the stairs is the location of the New SaniDry Sedona
