Before Egress
This is the location on the outside wher we will be installing the new Egress Window.
As the cutting begins
Before we start cutting we measure both outside and inside to make sure there are no items in the way. The first cutting is done with a small grinder to start a patern to follw with the very large powerful concrete saw.
Window is installed
After the cement wall is cut and the very large block of cement is removed, we break up the block it small pieces that we can move. Then we build a frame back in the hole to hold the window and more important support the weight of the house. We then istall the window and caulk and tape as required to make the openeing watertight.
All trimmed
Here we see the window has all the PVC trim installed making this window maininence free.
Inside view
Here we are looking at the Redi-Exit window from the inside. This window when closed will operate just like a regular single hung window. In an emergency the entire winwow opens to allow for easy exit.
